I started this blog in July 2010 mainly as a way to keep myself occupied and also to document the recipes I was trying as a newly wed. It helped, that as a result, my recipes would all be at one place. But, very soon it became my lifeline.

A very, very happy new year! Hope you had a blast welcoming 2012 and wish it brings with it beautiful moments that you will cherish for years to come.
V and I had an amazing new year eve.
There was a small get together at home with friends.
There was dancing.
Laughter.
And, drinking- a lot of that actually.
There was also food- lots of that too (which I could not savour since ‘someone’ had a little too much to drink!).
Overall it was a good, good night!
Doesn’t time really fly by? And doesn’t this feeling of time flying by become more pronounced during the end of a year and the beginning of another?
2011 surely flew by me.
The year was eventful, to say the least.
V survived a year of marriage with me!
I was able to make two trips to India this year. And I just realized almost half of this year was spent in India.
But the highlight of this year had to be the birth of my niece, Lahina. Oh how I miss that baby!
