A British favorite, these baked beans with mushroom and onions are perfect served with a slice of toast. A quick and easy meal, perfect for breakfast or even dinner.

Ingredients
1 can Baked Beans
2 tbsp butter
1 onion, finely chopped
8-10 mushrooms, sliced
3 cloves garlic
1-2 green chillies
1 tsp dried oregano
chopped coriander, for garnishing
Tabasco/chili flakes, optional
Toasted bread, to serve
Instructions
In a skillet, heat butter over medium high heat.
Add the garlic and cook for a few seconds till golden brown.
Add the chopped onions, and cook till translucent.
Add in the green chillies and cook for a few more seconds.
Add the sliced mushrooms, and cook till the water dries up.
Pour in the can of baked beans, and cook for 1-2 minutes till the mixture thickens up a bit. Season with salt and pepper, and mix in the dried oregano.
Remove from heat, garnish with cilantro and serve on toast.
